By looking at the tyre sidewall you will see a set of numbers and letters which gives us the tyre size, check this sample example: 205/65 R 15 87 R :
- 205 Width of tyre in mm.
- 65 The aspect ratio in % (the height of the sidewall divided by the tyre's width).
- R The construction type of the trye (most tyres these days are radials).
- 15 The diameter of the rim in inches.
- 87 Load Index
- R Speed Rating.
